Creating Contacts and Sending Messages
Creating or modifying of your contacts is as easy and integrated as possible, just create a contact folder within your DAO4Sync Drive (e.g. within your Windows Explorer) and the corresponding contact on your mobile will be created.
Create a text document within
your contact folder and save it, the
content will be send as SMS to the contact’s mobile number.
DAO4Sync Drive
The DAO4Sync Drive size is now selectable during installation setup or via options dialog. Performance has been improved in the access and synchronization area.
Mails feeds
Mails feeds for POP3 or Exchange can now be configured in the folder’s property dialog. The mails and attachments will be automatically synchronized to your mobile.

DAO4Sync Mobile Edition and its system components will do a Microsoft Windows Desktop integration of your mobile's data (files folders, contacts, messages). The integration is based on file system services, shell extensions and a synchronization engine keeping your mobile's data with your PC’s desktop world in sync.
DAO4Sync Mobile Edition establishes a local drive representing your mobile data. Your PC’s operation system will recognize the DAO4Sync Drive as a normal hard drive medium. All applications of your daily work will work directly with your mobiles data, like Windows Explorer, text processing, virus scanner, backup/restore, security, folder network sharing etc. You save your work in the application you are using and it will be transparently stored immediately on to your mobile’s storage.
A huge benefit of the DAO4Sync Drive is, you do not need to be continuously connected to your mobile. Work as long you need offline to your mobile and balance your data in a final step.
There is no sudden disappearing of your mobile’s data disk when you are getting disconnected to your mobile.
DAO4Sync Drive

work with files and folders located on your mobile’s memory

the same way as working with your local hard drive. There are no
limitations regarding updating the mobile files or restructuring the
folder structure. File or folder operations will be transparently also

Synchronization Engine
DAO4Sync
contains a Synchronization Engine which will keep your data within your
DAO4Sync Drive
and your mobile in balance (files, folders, contacts, messages). In
case of a synchronization process is running a progress dialog will be
launched to show you the file or files being copied from or to your
mobile respectively PC.
Following picture shows a progress dialog, launched by the
Synchronization Engine:
Work Connected OR Disconnected to your mobile
You can work with DAO4Sync connected or disconnected to your mobile. When DAO4Sync is connected to your mobile the files will be synchronized directly from or to your mobile’s memory regardless the application you are using.
Important: you can also work disconnected to your mobile. When reconnecting the DAO4Sync to your mobile, the DAO4Sync Synchronization Engine will automatically update the corresponding files/folders from or to your mobile storage.
